A1 Settlement Course
This course will give you the basic English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills you need to enter or remain in the UK as the husband, wife, civil partner or fiancé of a British citizen or settled person.
You will work towards the City & Guilds A1 IESOL certificate together with the City & Guilds A1 ISESOL certificate with our support and guidance.
You will have the opportunity to apply for the City & Guilds A1 IESOL diploma after passing both exams.

If you are looking to join your partner in the UK, then this course could be helpful to you.
However, you will need to ensure you have enough time to attend your classes, carry out
your assignments and participate in extra curriculum activities (optional) to get the most out of the programme:
- Standard full time courses 20 hours per week over 12 weeks
- Standard part time courses 7.5 hours per week up to 20 weeks

A pre-intermediate level of General English is advisable.
